Who We Are
Our 2 co-founders have experienced first hand how cancer and waiting for an organ transplant can impact lives. One is a 2-time liver cancer survivor and transplant recipient. The other is a loving husband who has been her caregiver and has seen how cancer and the stress of waiting for a life-saving liver transplant affect people up-close and personal.
They’ve learned about cancer and the organ transplant journey from their own personal experiences and have started Help the Liver with one simple goal- to utilize their experiences to help others. They hope that by sharing the many things they’ve learned, they can help others navigate the confusing and complex world of liver cancer and transplant.

Our Logo
We chose to use the lotus as our logo because it is one of the most profoundly symbolic flower in nature. The lotus flower is the epitome of strength and perseverance. With its roots based in a dark, muddy environment, it grows in very difficult conditions until it emerges to the surface and blooms without residue on its petals. It is a reminder that with strength and perseverance, we too can overcome even the toughest adversity, rise to the surface and bloom.
